a)      Paint Roller- Use thick-nap roller for patter/textured ceiling. It provides smooth appearance and beyond the bumps and other distortions. If you want smooth surface then prefer to use short-nap roller.

b)      Primer- For best results mixes primer with stain-blocker, it prevents from smoke, watermarks or nicotine. It means no need to require second coat of paint. It consumes the coat of paint.

c)       Cutting- Cut your angled brush corner or wall brush corner, if you don’t use painter’s tape on edges, this technique protects the trim and protect every edge which through to the ceiling.

d)      Zigzag Pattern- When paint with roller, dip it on paint tray deeply and makes zigzag pattern on ceiling, make this strokes straightly to balance the paint. If use primer then no need to apply second coat.

6. Painting Walls

a)      Primer- Primer is absorbing dark paint colors easily because it is a bright coat of paint. Primer blocks stains; its one-coat is enough to make paint topcoat. It reduces blisters and increases the life of topcoat because it improves adhesion.

b)      Paint- With trim brush cutting of wall ceiling touch point or line. Prolong 2 to 3 inches from doors, windows and moldings. But remember which area around of wall you left, paint with roller carefully. Start it from the corner with making zigzag patterns or W pattern and paint wall coat. Remember when paint in this technique keep roller on wall until it required a next appliance of paint.

Note: Before dip roller in paint, if it is latex paints than wet it first with water. But if it is oil-based paints then wet with paint thinner.

7. Painting Trim

a)      Painter’s Tape- When walls dry completely, then on broad moldings such as baseboards, apply painter’s tape on edge and take a putty knife to press it down.

b)      Paint- Start paint with straight –edged brush carefully. First paint trims from the top of windows and doors because in this way you can remove unnecessary strokes. Best to paint baseboard at last.

c)       Removing Tape- Remove painter’s tape very neatly after completing paint on trims and don’t wait for paint dry fully because if it dries it makes peeling, best idea is that take knife and cut along spots where the tape is fastened.

8. Cleaning

a)      Wet Sponge- For cleaning paint spots/splatter when painting, use wet sponge currently before dry paint.

b)      Lacquer Thinner/Paint Thinner- For removing paint from brush/roller if they used with oil-based paint. After that use soap for cleaning it after that use clean water to clean it and give time to dry.

c)       Warm water- If brush used with latex paints then dip brush bottom to remove the paint, now cleaning once with clean water, now painters comb use to make its bristles loose, after that use soap to clean it again, finally clean it with clean water and give time to come its perfect condition that’s it.

d)      Rollers- Best to clean rollers with using scraper 5-in-1 tool kit.

e)      Detergents/Solvent- Use to clean for floor surface or that place where you don’ expect that paint spots will make their place, and you make uncovered that palace during the painting process but it happened, in this situation use detergent/solvent or special surface cleaning products are available in market.

9. Protection
